About Green Villa

A family-run guesthouse in Oluvil, operated by CARE INTERNATIONAL (PVT) LTD.

Our story

Green Villa began as a handful of rooms let to visiting lecturers at South Eastern University. As Oluvil's harbour grew and the coast road opened up, so did we — twenty-one rooms today, a restaurant, a conference hall, and a garden that our guests treat as a second lobby.

We are still small enough that the person who answers your WhatsApp message is usually the person who hands you your key.

Hospitality, our way

The kitchen

Everything is cooked to order. Rice and curry is the heart of the menu — pol sambol, dhal, jackfruit, sea fish from Oluvil harbour that morning — alongside Tamil favourites like kottu, idiyappam and string hopper biryani.

For guests who want something plainer there is grilled fish, fried rice, pasta and a proper English breakfast. Tell us about allergies or vegetarian preferences when you book and the kitchen will plan around them.
